Martin Clocherty, Manufacturing Systems Director at Hayward Tyler, explains how Lanner's WITNESS has been used to support ambitious expansion plans
Hayward Tyler Group plc, a leading supplier of mission critical electric motors and pumps, is heading towards a milestone 200 year anniversary. Its Luton, UK, facility is embarking on an ambitious factory expansion project in order to cope with increased growth and demand for its specialist engineered products.
The factory expansion project is being supported by the UK Government's £300 million Regional Growth Fund (“RGF”) announced by the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg on 10 April 2014. Potentially up to £3.5 million of RGF grant monies will be used to expand Hayward Tyler’s existing manufacturing and training facilities in Luton, as well as create a global 'Centre of Excellence' for designing mission critical motor and pump technology for the civil nuclear and oil & gas markets.
Martin Clocherty discusses why Hayward Tyler turned to Lanner to support expansion plans with WITNESS Simulation software on their corporate website which will be updated with more details as this exciting project progresses.
