New Channel Partnership in India Set to Raise Awareness of Predictive Simulation as Fast Route to Profitability

Lanner, a provider of simulation software proven to maximise performance and optimise resources, today announced an agreement with RIM India PVT Ltd, a technology consultancy and Siemens training partner focused on engineering and manufacturing industries, set to expand share within this rapid growth market. The agreement will see RIM India enhance its market proposition through providing WITNESS’ predictive simulation capabilities and support for its wide engineering, automotive and manufacturing customer base.

With customers including Bosch and Panasonic, RIM India anticipates that through delivering WITNESS as part of its portfolio, it will enable its customers to improve business planning in addition to optimising supply chain and production operations.

“The nature of our customer base means that they stand to derive major benefits from predictive simulation,” comments Raghu Srinivasan, Managing Director, RIM India. “WITNESS can simulate complete business operations from strategic high level supply chains down to individual factory lines, allowing what-if change scenarios to be projected and analysed. Decision-makers can therefore rely on accurate analysis of their options to make the very best, most profitable planning decisions and avoid costly errors. We recognise WITNESS as the best simulation platform available to us and we look forward to sharing many successes in the near future.”
“India remains a core growth market for Lanner and we welcome RIM India to our channel network,” comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. “As manufacturers in the region continue to look at strategies which drive cost savings, boost margins and increase market share, process innovation, supported by predictive simulation, represents a key way to make the very best decisions and achieve competitive advantage.”
