New partnership will further the use of predictive simulation in South Africa and bring value to new markets.

Lanner, a provider of predictive simulation software which delivers the certainty to empower smart business, today announced an agreement with ValueMetrics, a business improvement consultancy based in Pretoria, South Africa. The agreement will see ValueMetrics add predictive simulation to its value proposition, which looks to drive business efficiency and help businesses achieve their strategic KPI’s.

Founded in the UK in 2012 and now Head Quartered in Pretoria, South Africa, ValueMetrics has a strong focus on Supply Chain optimisation, working with companies such as Cadbury-Schweppes, Sasol and Weir Minerals. Led by Emile Laubscher, who is a supply chain expert with experience in Europe and South Africa, ably supported by Annette Hieber with software sales experience at IBM, ValueMetrics will be offering customers an unprecedented understanding of their processes, turning the data they have into tangible models that can predict the impact of change.

“Predictive modelling is a key component of the ValueMetrics value proposition. We help companies in understanding, managing and optimising processes. Making sure that you understand the business impact, before implementing a new process, minimises business risks and assists in the change management aspects of new systems.” comments Annette Hieber, Sales and Marketing Director, ValueMetrics.

David Jones, CEO of Lanner commented:

“South Africa is the second largest economy in Africa and a G20 member with a growing business in the manufacturing sector, as well as natural resources. Lanner decided that increasing presence in the area was important to further support customers with manufacturing operations in the region and to develop new business in sectors where simulation is already well proven.”
