BPM and Predictive Simulation Leaders Shake up Market with Powerful New Approach to Process Improvement

Lanner, a provider of predictive simulation technology proven to maximise performance and optimise resources, today announced that it has joined forces with BPMS leader Bizagi, in a venture designed to drive greater innovation in the BPM market. The partnership is based on a shared belief, that process technologies and predictive simulation represent a powerful combination in helping organisations to drive improved business performance. The first output of the partnership will see Lanner provide its predictive simulation capability to Bizagi’s process modeller, adding substantial value through enabling BPM and operational users alike to scope out and predict the precise impact of new ideas and initiatives on their business.

Bizagi and Lanner have already worked together as part of WfMC’s Business Process Simulation Working Group (BPSWG) in creating the new BPSim standard, and this partnership is another milestone for the two companies in their quest to challenge the status quo, and take genuine innovation out to the market.

“Both Lanner and Bizagi share a belief that process technologies can substantially improve the way in which organisations operate and service their customers. Bizagi’s ethos of challenging the way things have traditionally been done, combined with Lanner’s innovative approach to simulation, represents a powerful proposition in developing joint value for our customers, comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. “The first output of the partnership will see Lanner’s predictive simulation capability effectively turbocharge Bizagi’s process modeller. Business users will be able to input information into a simple interface, and the simulation engine will quickly generate results which can ascertain the impact of a particular course of action within the business. These kinds of accurate predictions can help business managers to make more robust, confident decisions about business change – without the need to invest heavily in technology.”

“As a company we are focused on disrupting the BPM market through delivering speed, simplicity and empowerment, and in our quest to deliver this, we welcome this partnership and the predictive simulation capability it will bring,” comments Gustavo Gomez, CEO, Bizagi. “Providing users with the ability to predict how great ideas will impact actual business performance is extremely valuable and we believe this new approach will facilitate unprecedented levels of creativity and process improvement in the BPM community. We look forward to working with Lanner in the continued development of this approach.”
