Eviplan to Support Growth Strategy for Predictive Simulation Leader in South America.

Lanner, a provider of simulation software proven to maximize performance and optimize resources, today announced an agreement with Eviplan, a consultancy based in Brazil. The agreement will see Eviplan increase Lanner’s profile and market share across the region with a particular focus on the automotive industry, which accounts for approximately 20% of Brazil’s GDP. Transport and logistics, mining industries, and government agencies are also key industries for the partnership.

With customers including major automotive players such as Fiat Group, Ford and Volkswagen; minerals and mining company Thyssen Krupp; and logistics leader MRS, Eviplan helps organizations to improve productivity and best practice through a combination of disciplines including simulation, Lean and Six Sigma.

“Our customers recognise the value of simulation in driving efficiencies and boosting performance, particularly in light of the fact that our economy’s growth has steadied since 2010 where we saw record growth of 7.5%. Working closely with a global leader in this field is vital as it stands to build increased confidence across our target markets and helps them to be as lean and productive as possible,” comments Fabio Paiva, CEO, Eviplan. “As an integral element of improvement programs, simulation is a core focus for Eviplan. After a thorough investigation of the simulation software market, we selected WITNESS because it gave us a powerful, flexible platform for rapid delivery of results and, most importantly, value for our customers. Through our partnership with Lanner, we will offer our customers better options to visualize and optimize their processes, continuing to help them to improve decision-making and boost performance.”
“As organizations continue to look at advanced analytics and predictive simulation as a means to improve decision-making, drive down costs and enhance productivity, we remain focused on growing our global channel network to help meet this end,” comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. “Eviplan has deep domain skills and expertise in our key markets and extensive experience of programs and projects which drive best practice and productivity, and we welcome this agreement as a key stage in expanding our profile in the BRIC markets.”
