At the start of 2019, Lanner was acquired by international engineering and project management consultancy, Royal HaskoningDHV. This acquisition saw Lanner enter a new era, combining both companies’ skill sets to grow and learn from each other.

Now, as the halfway point of 2021 approaches, we are pleased to announce Lanner’s exciting new phase, as we become further integrated with Royal HaskoningDHV Digital’s software unit, bringing a wider digital offering to our customers, and opportunities for the Lanner team.

As part of the new phase, Lanner will see the existing Managment team step back and will welcome a new team to lead the business into the future.

David Jones, CEO, Andrew Aitken, COO and Chris Barnes, CFO, have been instrumental in shaping Lanner over the past 20 years, and their vision for the company, and its future, has been the driving force in its success, as Lanner has become one of the world’s leading  predictive digital twin experts.

This next stage of Lanner’s story represents a key milestone for the company, and the Lanner team, and is one approached with confidence, as David Jones states:

“an important objective of the RHDHV acquisition was to create long term stability and opportunities for our business and, importantly, our staff. We are happy to now be at a point where we can take a step back and hand control of the steering wheel to the RHDHV Digital Software management team and support them with transitioning. The business is in a great shape and will be in the hands of a team of colleagues who believe in what Lanner has achieved and how much further it can go.”

He goes on to say;

“For our customers, very little will change, however the opportunities available to them to expand their own digital transformation journeys will increase. Lanner is already working collaboratively with other areas of RHDHV Digital to bring the very best technology capabilities to our customers and this will continue, as will the customer focused service they expect from the Lanner team.”

As Lanner says goodbye to David, Andrew and Chris, Lanner will be welcoming Sander Zweers, Geoff Turner and Luuk Duijndam to the Management team, and we are excited to already be working closely with them as the transition of leadership takes place.

Sander Zweers, RHDHV Digital Software Unit’s Chief Commercial Officer and member of Lanner's Management team says….

” First and foremost, a big word of thanks to the former Lanner Management team. They are leaving a great company and team behind with big shoes to fill. We are now looking into the future with great confidence, and I am very excited to further integrate the business and expand its reach beyond RHDHV Digital. With Lanner and all the depth of experience in the people behind it, we add a unique component to our integrated data & software portfolio. Its integration into our Decision-as-a-service offering further boosts our global strategy and ambition to empower our clients to enhance the lives of millions of people. I have every confidence in the Lanner team and our partners to make this a success”.
