When Lanner became a member of the MTC, the concept of Industry 4.0 technologies was just starting to emerge, it took another couple of years for it to become the recognised key strategic tool it is today.

Everywhere you look, Industry 4.0 is being discussed and debated; however with so much noise surrounding the topic, it can become difficult to decipher the benefits it can bring to you and your company, and how to implement the associated technologies into the current framework of your business.

Recognising the need for clarity, we have teamed up with the  MTC to host a special seminar specifically aimed at small to medium sized manufacturers on Wednesday 13th September. The seminar will demonstrate how predictive simulation can form part of your Industry 4.0 strategy, and bring value to any business, no matter its size and simulation skill set.

The free seminar will specifically look at how predictive simulation can be used to solve problems in manufacturing, and introduce a new, cloud based predictive simulation App for decision makers. The cloud solution provides access to a ready-made Digital Twin, which can be configured and applied to a wide range of operations and systems, without any prior simulation experience required.

At the moment, you may be making daily planning, or even strategic, decisions based on gut feeling or by reading endless data in an Excel spreadsheet. With the App, data is entered and presented within an easy to understand dashboard, meaning decisions can be made quicker and with certainty, ensuring customer expectations are met, as well as validating capital investment and business improvement strategies before implementation.

Now is the time to embrace Industry 4.0 technologies and explore which components best fit your business. Predictive simulation already plays a vital role across a wide range of manufacturing organisations, and we hope through this event and Lanner’s cloud based solution, it can become a vital key to success for many more!
