To provide sales and administration support to the US team, in order to deliver sales, profit targets and team goals.
Company Background: Lanner Inc are a small Houston-based sales and customer support branch of a UK simulation software firm called the Lanner Group. The Houston team is located in the prestigious One Westchase Centre, with impressive 11th floor views towards downtown Houston. In line with wider group strategy, the team are focussed on the creation and retention of high quality customer relationships. The role being created here is designed to create an effective working partnership with the team's lead salesperson. The personality and values of each candidate will be equally as important as their skills and expertise.
Special Requirements
Key Responsibilities:- Ongoing support for software, software maintenance and training sales activities
- Provide support to the sales team by:
- Support maintaining and updating of Salesforce account data
- Supporting pro-active customer call campaigns
- Conduct Customer Status Reviews with key customer contacts
- Creatively assist with individual marketing campaigns
- Assist with US administration tasks, including:
- Handling customer calls of a technical or commercial nature
- Post sorting, cheque depositing and bill administration
- Shipping software dongles
- Maintenance renewal administration
The Person:
- A high energy individual - a natural self starter and willing to go 'the extra yard'
- Excellent commercial and business awareness
- First class communicator and natural relationship builder
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- A 'low maintenance' team player - doesn't put personal ambition above the team
- Comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools and ideally familiar with the IT sector
