Talking to an audience of channel partners from Europe, the Americas, Australia and Japan, the two day event saw CEO David Jones set out Lanner's focus for the next 12 months, including new channel relationships, key markets and territories, further investment in people, and a renewed focus on customer support.
As part of the simulation software provider's objective to grow its channel, new partnerships were announced, while Germany's Lanner SimTech GmbH was awarded Reseller of the Year for 2010, based on revenues and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Despite the current economic climate, the keynotes incorporated strong results from across the world, with successes highlighted in the oil and gas, defence, nuclear, food and beverage, automotive and electronics industries, as well as UK public sector.
"Our channel forms a key part of our strategy going forward, and in order to build on the growth achieved in the last 12 months, we are committed to ensuring that our partners are consistent in delivering the high levels of customer support and service which form part of our ethos" comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. "This event, the largest of its kind to date, was an important forum to exchange feedback. Going forward, we are set to launch a portal whereby resources can be accessed and feedback shared, facilitating this two-way exchange on a continual basis"
