The 2011 WITNESS User Conference will provide a forum for business process improvement professionals to learn, share and discuss the technologies, best practice, and strategy required to succeed in today's fast-paced and complex business environments. In addition to the various speakers, who will detail the role of simulation in helping them to solve problems and challenges respective to their organisations, Lanner will outline its product roadmap and company vision for the next 12 months.
The event will also feature an awards section which is divided into three categories; the WITNESS Project of the Year will focus on individuals and organisations which have delivered a notably successful simulation project, either in terms of significant commercial success, or innovative use in resolving a complex business challenge. The WITNESS Hall of Fame will recognise the extraordinary achievements of practitioners of WITNESS in the field of simulation, while the WITNESS Academic Contribution award will be presented to those students who demonstrate interest, dedication and innovation in their use of WITNESS.
"As the customer presentations will testify, WITNESS is used across a broad range of projects, however they all share a common goal – to harness resources in a more efficient way and to improve productivity," comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. "Our 2011 user conference will see a number of product improvements unveiled, all of which are designed to enhance the value our customers derive from their simulation projects and help them to optimise performance."
