Lanner expands its International Partner Network
Lanner has recently appointed new partners in Benelux, India, Malaysia, Korea, China and Australasia
Redditch, UK, 1 August 2005 - WITNESS continues to be the best in class simulation solution worldwide, and retains its strong reputation for being the best simulation tool on the market.
To continue to develop its market position and applicability to new sectors as well as providing support to its existing customers, Lanner has established new partnerships with companies representing its simulation-based Performance Improvement solutions and the WITNESS simulation toolset.
Lanner has appointed a new partner to represent WITNESS in the thriving Benelux market. Solventure NV, based in Merksem, Belgium, has been established to market and sell product based solutions into the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg markets. They will be representing WITNESS to new and existing customers into the Supply Chain and Business Process Management improvement fields.
Supporting major growth of the market in India, Lanner has appointed Indiasoft Technologies as its primary partner for this continent. Major opportunities for WITNESS are being followed in both manufacturing process and improvement with international firms manufacturing in India, and the supporting resource and skills balancing for companies managing shared service and outsourced call centers and back office functions.
ASR Synergy based in Kuala Lumpur have signed up as a solutions and consulting partner to use WITNESS to support its consulting activities in transportation and logistics modeling applications. ASR were a reseller in the territory but are now focusing on this thriving sector in Malaysia Millennium InfoSystems, as the primary partner and its partners in South Korea, HanDuh InfoSystems has been appointed as Lanners' new partner in South Korea to represent Lanner and WITNESS across key manufacturing and service sectors. Millennium InfoSystems was founded in 1988 by President and CEO Charles Koh, "we bring world-class IT solutions to the South Korean market. WITNESS is one such 'best of breed' solution, and with our enterprise architecture solutions background, it allows us to take the enterprise and business process modeling to a new level of value for our customers." Korea is one of the major Tier 1 supplier and component manufacturers to the automotive industry, and will be building on the existing success that Lanner has achieved in this sector already.
Lanner has established a new Competency Center in Wuhan, China in association with the Ministry of Education, Wuhan University and Highlight, a private commercial company. A new company has been formed to represent Lanner in China and provide a Center of Excellence and Education in the transportation and logistics industry in China. The new company, called WLL, World Light Logistics High Tech Company, will be formally launched later this year.
Finally, to further strengthen the market position of WITNESS in Australia and New Zealand, Lanner has appointed Prologic Pty to be the main distribution and solutions partner in the Territory. Prologic has significant experience in working with government offices, military and the service sector, supporting process improvement and will be both developing the market for WITNESS alongside its enterprise architecture products, and working directly with customers and supporting the existing Lanner partners in these territories.
