WITNESS YouTube Competition

Competition Help | Terms

You are invited to upload a WITNESS video onto 'YouTube' to win fantastic prizes for you and your company. Entry closes on 30/11/09. The winner will be judged by a combination of the highest YouTube Rating and the most votes cast during December.

The Prize:

The most popular video will receive 1 years FREE software maintenance for one WITNESS user, a valuable prize for their company; as well as a 'Flip Video' for the individual who created the video. There will be regional prizes for the following: the UK, the USA, Europe and Asia. There will also be a prize for the best video submitted by a University.

Guidelines

  1. To qualify, your video title must include the phrase "WITNESS Simulation Software".
  2. Videos should ideally include some 2D and 3D components (recommended).
  3. The video should carry a message, or illustrate some solution or use of functionality.
  4. The most successful videos are between 30 and 45 seconds in length.
  5. The resolution should be 1280 x 720 (or the highest possible).

Submitting your Video:

There are 3 main steps in order for you to get your video uploaded onto 'YouTube':

  1. Record your video using WITNESS capture tools or other suitable application.
  2. Use Windows Movie Maker or other video editing tools to insert opening titles and credits, or add a soundtrack.
  3. Upload onto 'YouTube'. Note that you can add further annotations, and soundtracks in YouTube as well.
  4. Email Lanner to confirm your submission at info@lanner.com
